The Dashe Bicycle Path was constructed by the District Office and opened to the public in January, 2008 to improve local tourism and recreation. The Bicycle Path represents a successful integration of local culture and industrial space, and is a ribbon-shaped park that measures 1300 meters in length and 8 meters in width. Old industries and roads of the Chianan Irrigation were renovated and improved extensively in order to enhance safety. Bicycle routes were established which could be used for special activities and cycling events. When no events are held, the Bicycle Path could also be used for morning walks and jogs.
