Shinshih Eco-park is located at Dianziding of Gangcian Village. The Eco-park is located next to Provincial Highway 1 and occupies nearly 4 hectares. The land was once a public cemetery, which was relocated to accommodate an ecological garden. The 2 to 3- meter-wide farming road was renovated and widened to create an 8-meter standard road so as to make the park more accessible to the residents of Dianzaiding. District Chief, Ciou Pao-hua, pointed out that the 2nd phase construction of the Park has been completed. In addition to the ecological lake, some trees have also been planted. Plans for the 3rd phase including improving vegetation cover and planting trees to give the park a more natural look. Local cultural elements will also be introduced to make the Eco-park another beautiful corner of Sinshih District.
